Whether you choose low fat or full fat yogurt, this dish is loaded with protein and probiotics, not to mention deliciousness!
1 1/2 cups Nonfat or full fat, (depending on your diet needs) plain Greek yogurt
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tbsp olive oil
2 medium yellow onions, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1.) Combine yogurt and sour cream in a medium bowl.
2.) Heat oil on medium, then add onions and garlic. Cook for 20-30 minutes, until caramelized and soft, stirring as needed. Let cool.
3.) Combine onions with yogurt mixture, season as needed with salt and pepper.
4.) Refrigerate for 4 hours, or overnight for best flavor.
Serve with raw vegetables: bell peppers, cucumbers, broccoli, etc.
